RESPONSIBILITIES of a GREETER
Greeters are the first and last faces a parishioner or visitor sees.
His/her positive first impression can’t be under-estimated, because it sets the tone for participants’ celebration of Mass.

GREETER PROTOCOL (6.4.2022)
- CHECK-IN 20 minute before Mass begins: Initial your name on the schedule so that we know you're here.
- PANIC BUTTON: As in the past, greeters are stationed in the front and back of the church. One greeter in the front and back will need to wear a panic button, which is used for a safety emergency only. Call "911" if the emergency is health-related.
- BEFORE MASS: Please welcome people and usher parishioners into the church. The section of pews near the confessional is "mask only," so you may have to kindly remind parishioners that they need to wear a mask if they wish to sit in that section. Stay at the doors until the Gospel is read.
- REGARDING the WORSHIP AID: Mary Ellen prints 150-175 worship aids per weekend. Electronic versions are available via the website; if you run out of worship aids tell parishioners to go to the homepage and click "WORSHIP AID."
- AFTER MASS: When parishioners have left the building, get key from sacristy to open the donation boxes. Place donations in RED BANK POUCH, put it in the safe, and return the key. Collect worship aids in the church and place them in neat piles at both doors.
