Our mission is to know Christ Jesus and to fulfill His Great Commission by launching college students into lifelong Catholic mission.

What is FOCUS?

FOCUS Catholic is a dynamic outreach ministry that invites students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. Through one-on-one discipleship, small group Bible studies, and campus-wide events, FOCUS missionaries equip students to deepen their faith, share the Gospel, and live as lifelong missionary disciples. By fostering authentic friendships and spiritual growth, we help students encounter Christ and become leaders in faith on campus and beyond.

SEEK

SEEK is a national Catholic conference hosted by FOCUS that brings together thousands of college students, young adults, and ministry leaders for an unforgettable experience of faith, fellowship, and formation. Featuring world-renowned Catholic speakers, daily Mass, adoration, confession, and powerful worship, SEEK provides an opportunity for attendees to deepen their relationship with Christ and be inspired to live out their faith boldly. With dynamic talks, small group discussions, and opportunities for authentic community, SEEK equips participants to become missionary disciples in their everyday lives.

Mission Trips

FOCUS Mission Trips provide college students with the opportunity to serve communities in need while deepening their faith through hands-on missionary work. Rooted in the Catholic tradition, these trips focus on both physical service—such as building projects, assisting local ministries, and caring for the poor—and spiritual outreach, sharing the Gospel and encountering Christ in those they serve.

Each mission trip is designed to transform not only the communities being served but also the students themselves, equipping them to return home with a missionary heart, ready to serve in their own communities. Through prayer, fellowship, and service, FOCUS Mission Trips create life-changing experiences that inspire students to live out their faith in bold and meaningful ways.

FOCUS x Campus Ministry

FOCUS missionaries actively go out onto campus, meeting students where they are and inviting them into a deeper relationship with Christ. Through personal outreach, Bible studies, and discipleship, they help students discover faith in a real and personal way. Once students are introduced to the Newman Center, our campus ministry is ready to welcome them into a vibrant Catholic community. From liturgies and retreats to service opportunities and student-led events, we provide a home where faith can grow and thrive. Together, FOCUS and campus ministry create a pathway for students to encounter Christ and find their place in the Church.

Meet the Team

Tori Allen

Tori is from Maryville, MI. In college, she studied Electrical Engineering. Her favorite Saint is St. Benedict, who inspires her through his teaching on leaving behind the world and seeking only the face of Christ.

Elliot Drew

Elliot is from Prairie Du Sac, WI. In college he studied accounting. His favorite Saint is St. Francis of Assisi, whose testimony has inspired him, especially after learning more about his life during a recent trip to Italy.

Wally Wisniewski

Wally is from Waconia, MN. In college he studied actuarial science. His favorite Saint is St. Raphael, his confirmation saint, who inspires him to walk alongside others and guide them through the scary and unknown parts of their journeys.

Maria Sullivan

Maria is from Cincinnati, OH. In college, she studied Marketing. Her favorite Saint is St. Thérèse of Lisieux, “The Little Flower,” whose humility and childlike presence before the Lord inspire her.

Joseph is from Kaukauna, WI. He is currently in his final semester at UW-La Crosse, studying Personal Financial Planning. His favorite Saint is St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, whose intentional and joyful life with the men around him inspires him.
