Becoming Catholic

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)

If you are an adult and interested in becoming Catholic or just want to learn more about the teachings of the Catholic Church, please consider our O.C.I.A. program.

OCIA is a journey of faith where participants explore the teachings, worship, and life of the Catholic Church. It's designed for those who are considering becoming Catholic, those simply curious about the faith, and even those who have been away from the Church and wish to return. Each session includes a presentation, time for questions and discussion, and prayer. The Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church serve as the foundational texts throughout the process.

OCIA takes place on Wednesday nights at the Roncalli Newman Center on the lower level. Please fill out the form below to indicate your interest joining the class. You can contact the OCIA Coordinator here with any questions you may have.
