A half dozen U. S Catholic Bishops, with the support of the Holy Father, gave us an example of that sentiment when they went to the U. S./Mexican border to visit the internment camps and in protest of current U. S. immigration policy and practice. In what they have said in recent weeks, and now with their actions, they are expressing for all U. S. Catholics our love for justice and good. The Pope stands behind our bishops who are taking a stand for what is right, good and moral.
Society is confronted by many major moral issues today. Where do you stand on issues like immigration? Racial equality? Equality in the workplace? Is what is in your heart truly a love for justice and goodness, or is all your murmuring and pious bowing just for show? Can you stand with our bishops?
