Friday, the 6th week of Easter
Maybe you have not experienced the pain of child birth but all of us have had to endure some type of suffering whether it is physical pain, grief, depression, or more. It is often hard to remember that there is purpose to this pain. We certainly don’t always see how the pain is changing us internally. But when this pain stops, whether it is in this life or next, the joy we will experience will far surpass the suffering.
If you are currently in a season of anguish hold tight to the Lord, dear brothers and sisters. Know God’s love for you and the joy that waits for you when the suffering is over. If you are in a season of joy give praise and thanks that you endured the trial set before you and maybe reach out to someone you know who is suffering so that your joy might comfort them.
