Saturday, the 6th week of Easter
Thru involvement at the Warming Shelter, Sally's and the Hospitality House, more than 60 students invested almost 200 hours to service to the people living on the margins. Thank you for helping tend to the needs of my friends on the streets and in the camps. When Jesus invites us to love one another, they are also included. If you were one of those who helped out, i hope you learned a great deal about yourself aa a member of Christ's body that also welcomes the homeless, the addicted, the mentally ill. We are all in this together.
How about your prayer, your relationship with God? Did anything change? i hope so. i hope you are able to more comfortably stand in God's presence; that you are willing to go deeper in this parent/child relationship. More than ever, hope this year brought you closer to making God the center of your life. In the ups and the downs, whether you will be returning in the fall or moving on to new challenges, .always remember that keeping God in the center is something you can always hold on to. He will never let go of your hand.
Keep the faith and have a great summer.
