That is a simple enough story common to most of us I am sure. The same holds true for our relationship with God. Don’t be fooled. He KNOWS us. So much so He knows every hair on our head! He knows us and he knows what we do. If we are to be in relationship with God we must acknowledge that our actions reflect this.
Do the heart of our actions lead back to our relationship with God? Do we volunteer so it looks good on a future resume or because God calls us to serve our brothers and sisters? Do we come to Church on Sunday, head bowed and humble in prayer after a night of partying? Do we treat our children and spouses one way in public but a different way behind closed doors?
God knows us and he loves us. We are His precious children. We are worth more than sparrows to Him. Let us live our lives in ways that reflects this.
