Readings for today’s Mass
There is a third piece to this scenario that gets really personal. After Jesus' triumphal entry into the world in the incarnation, after his entry into Jerusalem to begin the final act of redemption, it is now incumbent on us, thru personal conversion, to let him enter into our hearts and lives. It is the only thing that brings fulfillment to the other two. With the feast of the annunciation, Mary said yes to God. As he rode into Jerusalem, Jesus said yes to the Father and all that was about to happen. Now it is our turn. How do we say yes to allowing Jesus to enter into us and becoming part of who we are? For some, that may happen at the Easter Vigil when they are welcomed into the Catholic Church for the first time. For others it might be their upcoming confirmation. For most of us, it will be something we do everyday. Each day we need to renew our yes to Jesus. What are you doing today to allow Jesus to enter into your life?
